McAninch Student Athlete – Max Evans, Carlisle

On Monday night, Carlisle saw their season come to a close with a tight loss to Bondurant-Farrar in the Class 3A District Semifinals 75-71. Junior Max Evans will be part of the Wildcats team that looks to build for next season that will return 6 of their top 7 scorers.

Evans averaged 17 points per game this season on 44.4% shooting and hit 16 3 pointers. He also lead Carlisle in rebounds with 168 and assists with 75. He also plays his AAU basketball with the All Iowa Attack AAU program.

Off the court, Evans is heavily involved in the Carlisle community. He attends the Lighthouse Church along with volunteering at the school in helping the athletic director office in setting up and taking down sports equipment.  Max also works a part-time job and enjoys hunting and fishing as hobbies and is also a member of the Carlisle golf team. In the classroom he carries a 3.75 grade point average.
